JESSICA LUNDGREN
BUILDER REPRESENTATIVE
Jessica grew up several places in the Southeast, but loves to call Charlotte home. She studied business in Undergraduate and received a Master’s in Social Work from The University of South Carolina. She moved on to obtain her real estate license and started her career with Empire Design + Build in 2015. “There is nothing more rewarding than a happy Empire homeowner and I am fortunate enough to know many of them.” She enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and event planning. Jessica will be your first point of contact with Empire Design + Build.
SCOTT HAMER
DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION
Scott joined the Empire Design + Build team with 25 years of residential & commercial construction experience. He has built high end custom homes in around the Charlotte area for over 15 of those years. Scott’s passion is residential construction, and he takes pride in his work. He loves to watch a project come up from the ground, and ultimately deliver a quality constructed end product to his homeowners. Scott attended Ohio University. He is a licensed residential builder in North & South Carolina. He also holds a certified building contractor license in the state of Florida. In his free time, Scott enjoys Panthers football, boating, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
JACQUELINE PATRICK
SUPERINTENDENT
Jacqueline relocated to Charlotte from Mississippi to be closer to her family. She has a background in design and drafting, but really loves residential home building where she can interact directly with our homeowners. She has three children that she loves spending her free time with.
EDGAR LEYVA
SUPERINTENDANT
Edgar grew up in the little mountain town of Weaverville, NC. He has three degrees that revolve around construction management and has been in the business for 13 years, 6 of those have been here in Charlotte. He prides himself on building a home worthy of his signature. In his free time you can find Edgar with his family.
MIKE MARTIN
ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDANT
Mike grew up in Tampa before moving back to Charlotte where he was born. He worked as an electrician for nine years before starting his career with Empire Design + Build in 2020. He is passionate about residential homebuilding, and working directly with clients to make their visions come to life. In his spare time Mike enjoys spending quality time with his fiancé and their young son, and of course, cheering on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sundays.
MEAGAN THOMPSON
EMPIRE CUSTOM DESIGNER
Meagan was born and raised here in Charlotte and has years worth of experience in residential design. Meagan is our dedicated Empire Design + Build designer; she has a strong passion for interior finishes and loves making the process as enjoyable as possible. Building a lasting relationship with her homeowners is her favorite part of the job. It’s important to her that she works with you to create a space that you will love for years to come.
REGGIE COLEMAN
ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT
Reggie was born and raised in New York City. He relocated to Charlotte in 2014 and joined our team in 2017. He loves working in the field of custom residential homes to see the home owner’s delight when their home is completed. There is always something new to be learned, and he is proud of what Empire Design + Build allows him to be a part of. At the end of the day you will find him enjoying family time with his wife and daughter!
